There will be much more than music at the 6th annual West Ponce Music Stroll in Atlanta.
The West Ponce District is a quaint area of the city with small shops, restaurants and bars that turn their parking lots and patios into entertainment sites for a full day of free live music.
Musicians will entertain at businesses in the daytime. Later, a large stage in the area will come alive with evening performances by three bands.
The family-friendly event includes a number of other neighborhood activities. The day begins with a morning 5K run and a dog walk. Four-legged friends and owners can walk the route, starting at the back of the pack. The race is a fundraiser for a non-profit organization that supports scholarships.
Free outdoor fitness classes, including strength and conditioning training, yoga, and dance will be held after the run.
Professional artists will join in on the day's activities as they present their talents in the form of sidewalk chalk art. Visitors to the music stroll can also spend time browsing the outdoor makers' market where they will find handcrafted items, jewelry, fine art and other specialty merchandise.
To promote events such as this, organizers often rely on poster printing services provided by local Print shops.
