Atlanta Marriott gives facelift to in-house diner

Recently, the Atlanta Marriott in Atlanta began work on the redesign of its restaurant called Sear. It plans to reopen after the Christmas holidays in late December.

The restaurant is undergoing a menu update and redesign of the interior, and caters to a very large restaurant clientele in the community.

Erica Qualls-Battey, hotel general manager, says this renovation is part of the culinary resurgence in Atlanta as a top culinary destination. HeCho Inc. is designing the new interior.

The new restaurant will be an American steak house that uses locally sourced foods. Atlanta has printing services with graphic design staff that can create printed Menus for restaurants like this.

The restaurant will have a bourbon bar and create unique cocktails for customers. A local artist named Lynx Nguyen will have a commissioned art piece etched into the wall.

The dining area will have art features, a waiting area, and open floor plan. The design will complement the new menu. Each part was carefully selected to match their new theme.

The restaurant private dining rooms are going to be redesigned for groups or businesses. There will be rooms for small groups of 25 people and larger groups of 85 to 100.

The restaurant when it reopens will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is located at 265 Peachtree Center Ave SE.

Sear serves a buffet breakfast daily and continental breakfast, soup, sandwiches, pasta, steak and chops, seafood, chicken and desserts.
