The two-day ‘Festival on Ponce’ will be held at Olmstead Linear Park in Atlanta this fall. Sponsored by The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, it will have arts and crafts, a children’s area, entertainment, and food and beverages.
The festival will feature over 150 artists and craftsmen at the festival. There will be jewelry, abstract paintings, essential oils, leather goods, candles, plants, photographs, clothing, landscapes, pottery, ceramics, nautical items, food products, soap, toys, sculptures, T-Shirts, cosmetics, furniture, and lamps.
Musical entertainment comes courtesy of local bands and groups set up on the green area, and will be acoustic. This include acoustic guitars, flutes, clarinets, saxophones, pianos, harps, bells, and other instruments that don’t use electricity.
The Fall Festival on Ponce will have a children’s play area with games and other activities. There is a children’s playground in the park with swings and slides.
There will be restaurants and food trucks at the festival. They will have wine and beer and soft drinks available.
Some of the foods served will be hotdogs, hamburgers, pizza, funnel cakes, barbecued meats, sandwiches, lemonade, ice cream, kettle corn, chicken, seafood, tacos, vegetarian, and a variety of other cuisines. Atlanta has Print shops that design and provide banner printing for outdoor events like this.
The Fall Festival on Ponce will be held on October 12 and 13 on Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. There is parking available at the park and at Atlanta Primitive Baptist Church.
The festival is located on 1451 Ponce de Leon.
