A pedal kart event is to be held in Atlanta, Georgia this February.
The first annual Pedal Kart Derby will be a community initiative that gives children the opportunity to create their own pedal kart from scratch. They will work in teams to design and build a pedal kart, then alongside the creations of other competitors.
The competition is open to children from grades 6 up to 12. Each team may recruit assistance from local bike shops, mechanics, and engineering for further assistance. To enter the team, no experience is necessary.
The event is an initiative from the STEM Education Experience in Atlanta. The organization offers residents the opportunity to engage in a variety of projects and activities by offering classes for age groups ranging from young children to seniors. All teams will need to pay a registration fee of $250. Participants must sign up with their team name and contact information. The process can be completed on the AllEvents.in listing.
Graphic design can be an innovative way to create models of the finished product at events like this.
The competition will take place on February 25 at the Pittsburgh Yards. This is located at 352 University Avenue Southwest, Atlanta. It begins at 11:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm.
