An event planned with autistics and other non-neurotypicals in mind will bring some Easter-themed fun to Atlanta, and it is free to reserve a spot.
The whole family, including parents or caregivers and siblings, are welcome to attend the Alice in EasterLand EggsTravaganza party, which will offer fun that in a sensory-friendly way. This will be the first year for the activity, and the organizers are counting on the public’s support for its success.
The celebration has been organized through a partnership between Hearts2hugs, 1201 Café, and TakeOff Fitness ATL. It will open with a story and a freeze dance, and kids will be able to enjoy a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny while the adults watch the fun. A trackless train will be set up, and an assortment of light refreshments will be served to the crowd.
Attending a gathering gives non-neurotypical kids an opportunity to develop and practice their social skills in a setting that is relaxed and welcoming. Goodie Bags filled with Promotional Products donated by local businesses are often handed out during such events, and these can be crafted by a Print shop.
This springtime celebration will begin at 2:00 pm at 1201 Collier Road NW. Everyone who registers is asked to make sure they arrive on time so the function will run smoothly.
