The Atlanta Cycling Festival announces their 3rd annual weeklong festival, which is sure to have a cycling activity for everyone.
It is likely the organizers are busy working with a local printing company to create the Banners, Posters, and mile markers needed to promote and organize this event.
The event was first held in 2014 and has continued to grow each year. Last year, the Atlanta Cycling Festival organizers hosted more than 40 events including classes, rides, and parties. They had thousands of attendees last year and made donations to the Atlanta cycling community.
The event this year will feature organized rides, and biking-related art and movies. Each ride will have various skill levels so even if those new to cycling, can enjoy and not be left behind. The festival will outline some bike trends and bike jobs as well.
The organizers of this event are hoping to create a week of cycling fun encouraging people to travel to Atlanta just to enjoy what the event has to offer. They are looking for volunteers as well to support a variety of opportunities including leading rides, hosting an event, and supporting the activities planned for the week.
The event also is an opportunity for the Atlanta Cycling Festival to give back to the community by donating 5% of their profits back to the community. They also will be providing $2,000 in the form of a grant to support a bike project/business.
