Atlanta, Georgia is known for its active tourism industry, festivals, and conventions, and the Taste of Atlanta Food Festival will take place at Forth Ward Park in two months.
Featuring over 90 restaurants and several celebrity chefs, the event will have entertainment, kids’ activities, wine, beer, and soft drinks, along with barbecued ribs and meats, fish, Chinese, sandwiches, Japanese, sushi, Irish, Mexican southwestern, Spanish and many more regional choices for visitors and tourists.
The grand tasting includes a bag of sweet and savory goodies from local restaurants. The Grilling Stage will feature top chefs showing customers how to grill and sear meats, and baste them in different sauces for flavor. They have demonstrations on baking and how to use kitchen tools.
The Kitchen Workshop will teach new cooks some basic skills. Students in these classes will roll up their sleeves and participate leaving the class with what they made.
The Chastain Park Arts Festival held November 4 and 5 is free. It has many activities for adults and children, along with food trucks, children's activities, artists and craftsmen, and entertainment.
Shoppers will find jewelry, paintings, clothing, vases, toys, and other handmade crafts at the festival. On both days the festival will have a number of musical performances.
