The Chastain Park Art Festival will be held in Atlanta shortly. Named one of the top art festivals by Sunshine Artist Magazine, it will have about 185 artists and craftsmen.
The free event will offer children’s activities, art and crafts vendors selling merchandise, food, and entertainment. The park provides free parking in different locations.
Vendors will be selling paintings, sketches, jewelry, quilts, watercolors, sculpture, pottery, musical instruments, watercolors, photography, graphic design, and various food items to keep visitors’ interest piqued.
There are several local musical groups and artists that perform at different times each day. They explore country music, folk, blues, soul, funk, rock, and jazz, all while performing on a small acoustical stage in the park.
Food truck will be in the park providing festivalgoers with food and drink. It will have Indian food, tandoori wings, lamb shish kebob, tandoori chicken, soft drinks, vegetarian, gluten free entrees, sandwiches, burgers, fries, salads, and breakfast items.
As a fall festival, it presents the opportunity to see the season foliage and carry out some early holiday shopping.
The Chastain Park Fall Art Festival hours will be Saturday, November 4 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday, November 5, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
