The Small Business Education Series, from the Small Business Resource Network and the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, is a monthly morning seminar series which is aimed at local company leaders and those just starting in business. In a few weeks, it will address the topic of ‘True Life: Small Business Stories of Challenges and Success’.
The August seminar will feature panelists David Blumber of Be On Park, Lambrine Macejewski from Cocina 214, and John Rife, who is the owner of the East End Market. All three representatives will share their stories about building a business, finding the resources to get started, managing life outside of work, and how they overcame a variety of problems to achieve their goals.
Attendees will have a chance to network with one another while they are registering. It is likely that many of these Winter Park businesspersons planning to attend will have already placed a new business card printing order. Guests will no doubt want to be sure they have enough cards and that they have the most recent contact information.
The seminar is taking place at the Winter Park Welcome Center's Community Room on August 15 from 8:00 am - 9:00 am. Tickets are free for Winter Park Chamber of Commerce members and $10 for non-members. Those interested should contact Megan Lanier at 407-644-8281 for more information.
