Safe and Sound Wellness will offer a small-group relaxation session in St. Augustine this October, it will combine yin yoga with live sound techniques.
The hourlong program is designed for participants seeking a slower-paced practice centered on extended postures, breathing and guided rest.
Certified yoga instructor and sound practitioner Dani will lead the session, using crystal singing bowls and other instruments while participants move through supported yin poses. The format is intended to create a calm environment where guests can focus on gentle movement and quiet reflection. Previous yoga experience is not required, and the program is open to participants age 15 and older.
Admission includes use of a yoga mat, blankets, bolsters, cushions, eye pillows and other necessary props. Herbal tea and filtered water will also be provided. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, avoid strong fragrances and arrive early enough to settle into the studio before instruction begins.
General admission costs $44, with applicable sales tax included in the listed price. Attendance is limited to eight people. Refunds may be requested seven days before the session, and complimentary parking will be available in designated spaces near the building.
Organizers of wellness programs such as this often use poster printing to advertise event components and instructors.
The Yin Yoga and Sound Bath session is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Safe and Sound Wellness, 93½ King St, St. Augustine, Florida. Doors open at 4 PM.
