Saint Augustine to focus on emotional wellness

A women’s wellness retreat will soon be available in Saint Augustine.

Counselor and coach Rose Monk is organizing this program titled Flourish Forward, an oceanfront experience incorporating her NeuroFLO approach. It will be centered on emotional regulation, personal development, and mind-body practices.

Programming will combine yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, movement, music, and discussions examining emotional habits. Participants will also explore nutrition and its relationship to mood and wellbeing.

The retreat is designed to allow activities and conversations to take place in a small-group environment.

Scheduled experiences include a sound bath, facial massage instruction, chemistry-inspired art, an identity workshop, and an emotional assessment. Guests will also visit a salt cave and attend a comedy performance. A sunset cruise is included as a bonus activity, and attendees will receive a gift bag.

Linda Gilchrist will serve as the yoga instructor. The program is open to participants age 17 and older, and parking is complimentary.

Organizers promoting retreats and community programs like this one often use flyer printing.

The listed private king-room rate is $2,222, with $144.43 in sales tax, bringing the ticket total to $2,366.43. Special activity-only pricing may be available for local participants. Tickets to the event can be bought through the Eventbrite listing.

The dates of the retreat will be September 25 to 28. Doors will open at 3:45 pm at 7708 A1A South, Saint Augustine, Florida.
