Entomology professionals to gather in St. Augustine

Researchers, educators, students, and industry professionals are expected to convene in St. Augustine this summer for the 2026 Florida Entomological Society Annual Meeting.

The event will feature technical presentations, research poster exhibitions, networking opportunities, and recognition programs honoring achievements within the field. Organizers say the gathering is intended to bring together specialists from a variety of disciplines to discuss current studies and practical applications related to entomology, agriculture, public health, pest management, and environmental stewardship.

Attendees will have access to educational sessions throughout the conference, along with opportunities to connect with colleagues from universities, government agencies, and private organizations. An awards ceremony is also planned as part of the meeting schedule. Advance registration is encouraged, although on-site registration will be available.

Registration options include Student Early Bird admission for $76.54. Student Late Registration is available for $108.55. Early Bird registration for Florida Entomological Society members costs $273.95, while Late Member Registration is $348.65. Non-member registration is $380.66.
