A historic property in St. Augustine is hosting an interactive theatrical program that brings centuries of local history to life through performance.
Presented by The Woman’s Exchange in collaboration with Limelight Theatre, the experience transforms the Peña-Peck House into a walk-through production where visitors encounter characters representing different eras of the city’s past.
Actors portray individuals from the Spanish, British, and early American periods, guiding guests through rooms while delivering narratives tied to the site’s long history. The format allows attendees to move throughout the building, observing scenes and engaging with performers in a setting that blends historical interpretation with live theater. Visitors are advised to expect uneven floors and stair access.
Due to strong public interest, additional performances have been scheduled to extend the program’s run. Organizers note that the event aligns with a broader regional history celebration, drawing visitors interested in cultural and educational experiences. Limited seating is available in designated areas, and attendees are encouraged to plan accordingly.
The event is open to all ages, with pricing structured for both adults and younger participants. As with many heritage-based programs, organizers often use banner printing to promote schedules and enhance the visitor experience on-site.
Ticket prices are listed at $25.31 for adults, including fees, and $14.64 for children under 16, including fees.
The second performance would take place on May 9, with tours at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at the Peña-Peck House, 143 St. George Street, St. Augustine, Florida.
