Upcoming show will help homeowners

The Mid Florida Summer Home Show is taking place over two days next month in Plant City.

There are expected to be over 100 exhibitors at the show who will be showcasing items and services of interest to homeowners. This will include landscapers, interior designers, gardeners, plumbers and a wide variety of related companies. Most of them will also be providing demonstrations and giving tips to homeowners.

Exhibit booths are still available for a fee of $500 each; corner booths are sold out.

Guests are encouraged to bring school supplies to donate to local needy children.

A popular part of the show will be the Taste of Plant City. Local restaurants will be providing samples for a small fee and guests can vote for the “Best Tastes of Plant City.” In addition, there will be musical entertainment from artists such as Kris Pierce, NRG and the American Songbox. Shalyah Fearing from “The Voice” will be making an appearance on the Sunday afternoon.

Plant City printing companies often help advertise events such as this by providing a product that can easily be distributed in the community.

The Mid Florida Summer Home Show will be held at the Strawberry Festival Grounds from July 9 to 10 beginning at 10:00 AM each day; the Taste of Plant City will take place from 12:00 to 5:00 PM each day. Admission is $5 for two days. Contact Drew Cecere at 727-674-1464 for more information.
