The 16th annual Clean Air Faire is taking place next month. It is a presentation of the Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘Keep Calm … EPC 50 Years and Going Strong’. The fair began as a celebration and recognition of Arbor Day.
The free festival will be featuring environmentally friendly vendors who will be selling their products and promoting their services to the public. There will also be several environmental exhibitors and government organizations on hand to provide information to the public about their programs. Transportation and bike exhibitions, health information booths, and a display of the finalists in the Hillsborough County photography contest will also be among the attractions.
Visitors can enter prize drawings and enjoy free food and drink samples. There will also be live musical entertainment taking place throughout the day, and free saplings will be handed out in honor of Arbor Day.
It is likely that this event will attract people from all around Hillsborough County, including those from Plant City. Local Print companies are often asked to help spread the word by providing advertising materials.
The Clean Air Faire will be held at Poe Plaza in Tampa on May 4 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. To find out more or to become a vendor, contact Michelle at 813-627-2600 x1271.
