Upcoming expo set to be educational to pet owners

The Repticon FirExpo is taking place for two days next month in Lakeland.

The expo is aimed at owners and fans of reptiles, including lizards, snakes, turtles, and other cold-blooded animals.

Vendors will be on hand to sell pets, supplies, feeders, and other reptile-related merchandise. Guests will enjoy educational seminars and displays from groups such as the Turtle and Tortoise Club, Top Hat Geckos, the Allgood Dragons, and Croc Encounters. There are also set to be a number of raffles hosted by various vendors.

Visitors can also bid on items in a live auction, which will benefit the Crocodilian Conservation Center of Florida, Inc. It will take place on the Saturday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

VIP tickets are available, and purchasers will get into the show an hour earlier on Saturday and receive a tote bag filled with Promotional Products from vendors.

Those who are interested in reptiles and all related topics will no doubt want to know about this show. Local Print companies may provide advertising products to spread the word to nearby communities such as Plant City.

The Repticon FirExpo will take place at the Lakeland Center from September 12 to 13. Admission is $10 per day for adults or $15 for both days, and $5 for children between the ages of 5 and 10. VIP tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for kids. Call 863-268-4273 to learn more.
