Strawberry Festival tickets available now

Plant City will be hosting its annual Strawberry Festival this spring.

The Festival will offer concerts, games, midway rides, and handmade goods displays from local artisans, as well as a variety of vendors. There will be fun for the whole family, with more than 80 rides and attractions, approximately half of them for kids only. The services of printing companies are often used to create brochure guides and programs for events like this.

Concerts run the gamut from country artists like Brad Paisley and Reba McEntire, to classic acts like Earth, Wind & Fire, to a 90s showcase with Salt-N-Pepa and Tone Loc. True to its namesake, there will be a variety of strawberry-themed foods to try, from standbys like shortcake, milkshakes, jams, and crepes, to more unusual fare like strawberry hamburgers, peanut brittle, and pizza. There will also be contests, gifts, and even a strawberry mascot.

The Festival began in 1930 as an agricultural event to celebrate local strawberry farming. Since then, it has grown into an 11-day affair that sees over half a million visitors each year. This year’s theme is ‘Building New Memories’ in reference to a new vendor facility and entertainment seating.

With the event running from March 1-11, tickets for the Strawberry Festival are available now, and can be purchased online, via phone, or in person at the main ticket office in Plant City.
