Races now available for Plant City Downtown Duck Derby
Plant City’s main street offers the public a wide variety of choices when it comes to eating, shopping, or just having fun, and it has opened the registration system for one of its most popular fundraising events.
The Downtown Duck Derby is set to take place once again, and anyone who would like to participate can purchase their floating ducky racer for $5. As the function will be broadcast live online, people from anywhere can get in on the fun and vie for the $1,000 prize for the winning duck.
Proceeds from the race will be used to help revitalize Plant City’s historic downtown core. Those who are interested can adopt as many ducks as they wish, and they will ride the current in the waterway where they will be released.
