Public invited to chug on in for railway-themed fun

All abroad for family fun in Plant City this spring, with everyone is invited to make tracks to the community’s McCall Park to join in the fun.

The Robert W. Willaford Railroad Museum offers a sneak peek into the history of railways in Florida, and its Railfest is one of its signature fundraising events. The organizers have built an agenda for the day that will be filled with activities that are both educational and fun, and picnic-style fare will be available for purchase as well.

The museum will be setting up displays for the guests to browse through, and the kids can have fun in the bouncy house and engaging in the other activities. They can even hop aboard a miniature train, and with so much going on, there will be lots of photo ops of all the excitement. A banner printing company will be able to offer Banners that can be used during large community celebrations such as this, and can include full-color text and graphics in the graphic design used.

The museum has scheduled this annual celebration of the area’s rail history for April 25. The doors will be open to the guests from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, and the Chamber of Commerce’s website includes more information about this activity, as well as other upcoming local events.
