Next month, a Plant City festival-style event will be bringing the fun to the community, and the gathering will be geared towards the home gardener.
Parkesdale Farm is set to roll out the welcome mat for its first Flower Power Garden Fest. It will have a nostalgic atmosphere, and both visitors and locals are on the guestlist.
Those who plan on attending the festival are encouraged to wear hippie-style attire, and they will have the chance to browse and buy at the vendor tables and visit the photo booth. Sellers will offer an assortment of horticulturally related merchandise. A curated group of artists will have art on display for purchase, and refreshments, including milkshakes, will be available. Food trucks have been invited to park on site as well. Kids can spend some time with the face painter, and the ‘70s tunes that will be playing will add to the overall festive atmosphere.
Admission to the festival will be free, and all ages are welcome. A Print shop that offers Graphic Design Services can prepare a logo and other branding for an inaugural event.
