The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual Planes, Trains and Automobiles festival this May.
The event is set to feature displays of real airplanes, remote control displays, antique and classic cars, antique railroad equipment, and train artifacts and memorabilia. Most of the vehicles on display will allow visitors the opportunity to sit in or on them.
The EAA Young Eagles Program will give 100 children between the ages of 8 and 17 free airplane flights. Boy Scouts can also earn their aviator and search and rescue merit badges during the day.
There will also be working model trains, demonstrations by the Plant City Police Department's K-9 squad, appearances from members of the fire department, computer simulators, and plenty more to tempt those with an interest in transportation.
Since organizers will want to attract as many visitors as possible from Plant City and surrounding areas, they may have chosen to work with local printing companies to produce the flyer advertising the event. Flyers are one of the most effective Forms of marketing and they are inexpensive to produce.
