Plant City set for evening of frightful fun

Downtown Plant City will soon be giving the public lots of thrills and chills when it hosts a special Halloween event planned with all ages in mind.

McCall Park in the community’s downtown will be transformed into a spooky celebration, and many local businesses have chosen to get involved. Everyone is reminded to come in costume, and to make the function even more fun for families, the adults in the crowd can dress up too.

The party will be filled with local vendors, as well as a selection of food trucks, and the public can patronize any of them that catch their eye. A pop-up market will offer them a chance to shop for handmade goods for the upcoming winter holiday season, and with a little bit of luck, they may even be able to polish off their gift shopping list.

This community gathering is part of the city’s Last Friday in Downtown program. Communities that host public events will be able to source an assortment of marketing materials from a local brochure printing company.

Plant City has made plans to welcome one and all for its Halloween celebration Friday, October 27. It will be offering lots of frightful fun from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and all ages are welcome to drop in and be part of this free evening.
