Big Brothers and Big Sisters helps Plant City young people in a variety of ways, and the organization is seeking the support of the community for a special fundraising event.
The annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake Polk will be one of the largest fundraisers of the year for the organization’s Tampa Bay chapters, and it will be all about having fun while supporting local kids. Everyone is encouraged to join in the spirit of the celebration and register as an individual or as part of a team, and to organizers explained that, for the well-being of all the participants, Covid prevention measures will be encouraged.
Once a team has been formed, the members are asked to fundraise in any way they wish. The bowling party will be held at Orange Bowl Lanes, and shoe and ball rental, T-Shirts, and other Corporate Gifts and refreshments will all be supplied. Door prize draws are also on the agenda.
The organizers pointed out that it would not be possible to host this activity without the support of the local business community. There may still be opportunities for additional companies to get involved, and those that do will have their Logo Design seen by a wide audience of potential future patrons.
The Plant City instalment of Bowl for Kids’ Sake will hit the lanes on July 10. The support of area residents is highly appreciated.
