A fundraiser for the 2019 graduating class of Plant City High School will soon be taking a course that will wind its way around the school, and it promises to be an event full of color, laughter, and fun.
All ages are welcome to join the 5K Color Run, whether they wish to run, walk, or roll in a wheelchair. Strollers are also welcome. The route will include both hard and grassy surfaces, and as it will be just for fun, it will not be timed.
To help make the occasion even more festive, ‘Holi Powder’ stations that will dust puffs of color on the runners as the pass by will be erected along the route. There will also be water stations to ensure that everyone stays hydrated, and when the run is over, snacks will be served.
Those who wish to add even more brightness to the day can opt to purchase small packets of the power which will be on offer for $2 each. People can choose to register ahead of time or on the day of the race itself. A banner printing company can design a colorful banner that can be displayed at the finish line during this sort of event.
The date for this fundraiser has been set as November 3. The entry fee starts at $25.
