Plant City families to enjoy outdoor movie night

A Plant City evening will offer a taste of the bygone days as it revives the drive-in movie next month.

The Plant City YMCA will be the venue for an outdoor movie night, and it was noted that there will be plenty of space so everyone can socially distance while they take in the show. If the weather is not favorable it will be moved to the venue’s gymnasium.

Everyone who plans on attending the screening is welcome to bring along seating, such as a folding chair or blanket, and they will be able to enjoy some freshly made popcorn free of charge. The picture scheduled to be screened is “Ratatouille” which is an animated film that has become a popular family movie since its 2007 release.

Covid may have caused both companies and not-for-profit-groups to change the way they do business, but a printing services supplier will still be able to help them keep the public informed about the activities they have on offer and how they are adapting to the changing environment.

The Plant City YMCA will be turning its back field into a giant outdoor theater on December 10. It will start at 6:00 pm, and anyone with questions is asked to stop by the site’s Welcome Center or contact the planners through email at Ally.Larese@tampaymca.org.
