An event to get parakeet fans and other bird lovers talking is right around the corner, and it will be held in the Teco building located at Plant City’s Strawberry festival grounds.
The expo – which is sponsored by Lin Enterprises, Independent’s Choice Feed and Fancy Feathers bird toys – will have offerings for both hook- and soft-bill bird owners. Members of the public will be able to stock up on food and other supplies for their fine feathered friends, and both kids and adults are welcome.
Along with a chance to learn how to provide top-quality care to their avian pets, the function will give vendors a chance to connect with a large customer base that may be ready to buy. Pet bird owners often have special requirements, and a function like this will put them in touch with companies able to supply them with the products they need. Business Cards and other marketing supplies for the business that take part in the event may be obtained from a local business card printing company.
The Southeast Exotic Bird Fair will be making a stop in Plant City on October 16. Admission for adults starts at $5, and it is free for those age 12 and under.
