Plant City residents have been offered an opportunity that can help them make the most of their lunch break. It will give tips for nature-inspired holiday decor, and it will be free to take part in the class.
The Lakeland Electric Building will be the venue for a lunch and learn all about decorating for the holidays using items from the natural world. Lunch will be served, and it will run for one hour.
The learners in the workshop will discover how they can use plants, including branches and boughs, to decorate their home, and they will also find out how they can easily create a welcoming atmosphere for their guests. They will be taught a variety of crafts that are easy to make using materials form nature, and the session is being presented through support from the UF/IFAS Extension Polk County and City of Lakeland Water Utilities.
Attending an event like this can be both educational and fun, and Flyers can be posted throughout the local area so that the public will be aware that it has been planned. A flyer printing company can supply these, along with any other items the organizers feel are needed for it to be a success.
