Throughout the month of April, organizations will be hosting autism awareness events all across the country, and one that has been planned for the Plant City area will be the 3rd annual Autism Family Fun Day.
This free event is open to the public, and all families are welcome. An assortment of activities will be on offer, and there will be live entertainment as well.
The kids who come out will be able to play games and enjoy the bounce houses that will be set up for the day. The adults in the crowd can browse through the different vendor displays that will be on site, and there will also be local crafters selling their creations. Everyone who attends is invited to mingle and get to know their neighbors a little bit better, and while they do, they will have an opportunity to learn more about autism and what they can do to show their support or families affected by it.
