Plant City area to enjoy orchestral performance

Romance will be in the air this February, as a special concert filled with songs about love will be performed in the Plant City area.

The Lakeland Concert Band performs at various area venues throughout the year, and in honor of Valentine’s Day, it has planned a program that will be focused on affairs of the heart. Admission is free, and it will be just one of the shows the orchestra has on the agenda for 2023.

The performers, who are all volunteers, all have experience in being part of a larger band. The activity will kick off with a showcase of other local talent, and advance tickets are not required. The program for the afternoon runs for one and a half hours, and it will be taking place at Branscomb Auditorium, which is located on the campus of Florida Southern College in Lakeland.

Attending a live performance can be an exciting experience. A brochure printing company’s graphic design team will be able to prepare souvenir programs for an activity that will list the pieces being played, the musicians and conductor, and also details about the businesses sponsoring an activity.

This free salute to romance will begin with the showcase of local talent at 1:45 pm, and the concert itself will start at 2:30 pm. It is on the agenda for February 12.
