An event that gives all sorts of vehicles a day in the sun will soon be rolling into the Plant City area, and along with the cars and trucks on display, there will be plenty of other fun on offer.
The Palmetto Club at FishHawk Ranch will be the venue for an event that will showcase some of the region's coolest show cars, and awards will be presented to the owner of the top entries. The festivities will be up and running for three hours on an early October afternoon, and tickets to enter are $5 each.
As well as the vehicle show, the planners have lots of other fun on the agenda. Local food trucks will be parked on site with a selection of hot and cold fare, as well as beverages, and a professional DJ will supply the tunes. An even-split draw will aid in raising even more, and the celebration will be rounded out by presenting the community with an opportunity to donate blood at the Big Red Bus manned by OneBlood.
