Plant City area planning pop-up market

Plant City residents are set to show some love to local small businesses by patronizing an area pop-up shopping party.

Oak-K Farm, located in Lakeland, will be welcoming the public for its Country Craft and Vendor Fair. The festivities will be set up both indoors and outside, and there will be products and services available for the whole family, including those with fur, feathers, or scales.

The activity will offer spaces to local makers and other small businesses, as well as multi-level marketing companies such as Scentsy. Food wreaths and other crafts will be in the mix, and prize draws are in the works as well.

As well as the market, the plans for the day include tours of the venue for couples looking for a place to hold their wedding or other special occasion. They will be able to learn about what it has to offer, including its horse-drawn carriage.

Hosting a vendor fair is one of the ways a venue can introduce itself to the public. A brochure printing company will be happy to help make these functions even more effective by crafting information packages to distribute to anyone who requests one.

Oak-K-Farm will be giving summer an early warm welcome with this pop-up vendor market on Saturday, June 3. Its doors will open at 11:00 am.
