Florida is home to many species of butterflies, and as part of an upcoming workshop, Plant City residents will learn how to attract these colorful insects to their garden.
Kerby’s Nursery offers the gardening public an opportunity to learn through a variety of seasonal workshops, and one planned for early April will introduce the topic of butterfly gardening. The participants will discover how to attract them and encourage them to stay, and everyone is welcome.
During the class, the attendees will find out which plants attract which species of butterflies, and they will also learn how, if they want them to take up permanent residence, they will need to supply food, water, and shelter for all the stages of their life cycle. There will also be a discussion of other ways of making these insects feel at home, and the session is part of the nursery’s ongoing efforts to keep both newbie and experienced gardeners informed.
Businesses that host learning events often choose to order materials for these activities from area printing services companies. These may be distributed, along with promotional Pens, at the start of a workshop so that the participants will find it easier to make any notes they wish.
The team at Kerby's Nursery , which can be found at 2311 South Parsons Avenue in Seffner, has made arrangements to offer this activity on April 2. Additional information about this event, as well as its other scheduled learning sessions, can be found on its website.
