The Rotary Club has chapters all over the world, and the one that calls the Plant City area home has a special occasion on its agenda for the community.
The members of Lakeland Rotary have announced that its Spring Obsession Celebration will be returning in 2023, and it will be held in Lakeland’s Munn Park. All proceeds will be used to help support various not-for-profit initiatives in Polk County, and the organizers are hoping for a great turnout.
Guests who stop by the celebration will be able to support the area's small business community by visiting the vendor tables, and it is expected that there will be at least 60 with displays on site. Everything from garden art to plants will be in the mix, and a raffle draw, food, and other fun will round out the occasion. When they have had their fill of the festivities, everyone is invited to linger and patronize downtown establishments.
The warm days of early spring can be a great time to hold an outdoor event. Banner printing services for many types of occasions will be available at an area printer.
The Lakeland chapter of the Rotary Club will be setting up this annual celebration for Saturday, March 11. Everyone is welcome to stop by in person and enjoy the fun.
