Plant City area expo on offer for local hearing impaired community

Hearing loss affects a significant portion of the population in Plant City, and an area event will raise awareness of this issue and help those affected to explore their treatment options.

The event will bring together both professionals and vendors who work in the audiology field, and many will have booths and other displays set up. The latest in hearing technology will be exhibited, and there will be a variety of other activities as well.

Those who come to the expo will be able to meet with the exhibitors and learn more about the services they have to offer. There will also be prize draws throughout the day, and an even split draw and silent auction are also on the agenda. Guests at the event will be able to take part in hearing screenings, and they can also find out more about amplified phones and whether or not they qualify to receive one.

This health-related occasion is being brought to the community courtesy of the Lakeland chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America. A local printer will be able to design and produce an assortment of branded Promotional Products that can be given away by the vendors who participate in this type of function.

The Hearing Wellness Expo will be on offer on March 3 at the First Presbyterian Church in Lakeland. More details can be found on the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce’s website.
