Plant City will soon be showing its American pride when it hosts its annual day of 4th of July fun.
The community's Plant City Stadium will be the venue for the return of its Independence Day celebration, which returns from hiatus due to the Covid pandemic. This will be the 16th year the function has been held, and while admission to the venue is free, a fee is being charged for parking.
This all-ages celebration will be alcohol free, and a variety of activities will be set up for the enjoyment of the attendees. There will be corn hole, tug of war, and other games, as well as a climbing wall, balloon art, and face painters, and the kids can hop aboard the kiddie train. Local vendors will be on site selling a variety of merchandise, and the concession stand will be open. Prize draws, live entertainment, and the day will be capped off with a fireworks show.
The planners of this special event explained that it would not be possible without the support of its corporate and not-for-profit sponsors. Information about each, along with its Logo Design, can be found on the Plant City website.
This salute to the USA will begin at 6:00 pm on July 4, and the parking area will be open at 5:30 pm. The fireworks show is scheduled to start at 9:15 pm after some short remarks and sponsor recognition.
