Plant City’s law enforcement officers, first responders, and conservation officials work hard throughout the year to keep the public and local wildlife safe. An invitation has been extended to the city’s residents to come out and meet these safety professionals face-to-face in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
During the area’s Community Safety Day, police officers, deputy officers, the Fire Chief and officers from Fish and Wildlife will be on hand to meet and chat with members of the public. Those who come out will have an opportunity to learn more about what they can do, in their own lives, to encourage safe behavior in themselves and others, as well as actions they can take to protect local wildlife and natural spaces.
The officials who planned the function noted that, along with safety, it will also be about fun, and an assortment of family friendly activities have been planned for the gathering. Banners, Brochures and other materials for an event like this can be both designed and produced by a local Print company using innovative graphic design techniques.
Plant City’s Community Safety Day has been organized for June 3 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. It will be held at the Olin S. Wright Masonic Lodge, which is located at 304 Acacia Drive. All are welcome, and more information can be found on the city’s website.
