The Plant City Bike Fest’s 14th-anniversary celebration is taking place next month, presented by the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce.
The bike fest is held three times a year, in May, October, and December.
It will feature a motorcycle show and competition. Those who are interested can register their bikes on the day of the festival for $10. They will compete in various categories including Trike, Harley, and Vintage (pre-1990). Prizes will be awarded for the 1st and 2nd place winners. Everyone will also compete for Best of Show and People’s Choice trophies.
The festival is also set to feature live music from Southbound, a motorcycle stunt show, and the annual poker run, which will benefit the Green Beret Foundation.
Vendors will also be on hand to sell food and homemade arts and crafts. A 10 x 10-foot booth is $50 and will go up to $65 on September 28.
Sponsorships are available from $75 up to $500. Sponsors will be recognized in all Print advertising and on Banners, which will likely be obtained from Plant City printing firms.
The Plant City Bike Fest will be held at Union Station Depot on October 1 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Admission is free of charge. To get the latest information about this event, or to become a vendor or sponsor, contact Peggy Wilson at 813-754-3707.
