Annual music event means sound start to 2015

The Sunshine Music and Blues Festival is returning to St. Petersburg this January.

The festival offers two stages of musical entertainment, craft beer, food, and a number of merchandise vendors. Among those acts that have been confirmed for this year's festival are The Tedeschi-Trucks Band, Grace Potter, Dickey Betts and Great Southern, Los Lobos, and Matt Schofield.

Those who wish to get more out of the festival can purchase a Southern Experience VIP ticket. This entitles them to a premium viewing area, a catered lunch, private restrooms, and an event T-shirt and poster.

Vendor spots are available those who wish to sell merchandise, costing $175 for a 10 x 10 foot space or $250 for a 10 x 20 foot space. Fees for food vendors are $400 for the smaller booth or $500 plus 30% of sales for the larger option.

This festival will probably attract music fans from all over the area, including those from Plant City. Event Posters may have been provided by local printing companies in order to generate local interest in the annual celebration.
