The annual Garden Fest is taking place next month, presented by the Plant City Garden Club and Plant City Main Street.
The festival will be set up in two downtown locations. Plants, garden accessories, and other live produce will be available for purchase at Union Station Depot; no doubt many Garden Club members will be there to sell their hand-grown plants and flowers. Vendors who will be selling antiques, vintage garden products, and arts and crafts will be located at McCall Park. Items for sale here will likely include unique products such as handmade jewelry, collectible lawn decorations, and gardening accessories such as gloves and aprons. Food and drink will also be available for purchase.
Vendor spaces are still available for retail and food providers, costing $35 per space. Those who are interested in renting space are asked to contact Rachel Troxell at 813-716-1201.
This annual event attracts visitors from all over Plant City and surrounding areas. To advertise it, Flyers may be distributed by hand, as newspaper supplements, or through the mail.
The GardenFest will be held in downtown Plant City on September 24 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Admission is free of charge. To get the latest information about this event, and to learn more about becoming a vendor, visit the event’s Facebook page.
