Special arts festival to be held in Orlando

The Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival will be returning this spring.

This is the 34th year of the festival, which is a display of local culture and the arts. The theme for this year’s show is “Let Your Fringe Flag Fly.” Tempestt Halstead, the festival’s artistic director, has said that the theme this year is an invitation for the celebration of individuality so that diverse voices can be heard. He added that its goal is to champion the power of the arts to inspire, unite, and challenge.

This arts festival typically features over 1,000 performances and ranges from musicals to theatrical plays, dance, comedy, and the spoken word, among others. There will be additional performances that will include Kids Fringe, Visual Fringe, and the outdoor music stage.

The arts festival will be at the Kids Fringe at Orlando Garden Club, Orlando Family Stage, and at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center, as well as at the Starlite Room at Savoy and at the Renaissance Theatre Co.

Poster printing can be used to promote such unique arts festivals throughout a city.

The Orlando Fringe Festival will have a teaser show from a local artist at Orlando Shakes on Monday, April 14, and a ribbon cutting and opening of the festival at the Orlando Family Stage on Tuesday, May 13. The festival runs from Wednesday, May 14 through Monday, May 26, on which day there will be closing ceremonies and Patrons Pick Day.
