This project is part of the Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP), which was founded in 2017 and is the leading community and economic development organization in the region. This is the 200th development project of the organization and highlights the role played by the OEP in assisting companies to expand, and attracting new ones looking to become successful in the region. This project brings the OEP’s total investment to $3.6bn, creating nearly 30,000 jobs and $3.3bn in yearly wages.

Schwab recently purchased parking on the street, two structures for parking, and four buildings for offices on Summit Park Drive. Approximately 1,200 people are employed by Schwab in the area. Schwab has pointed out how important Orlando has been over the past 30 years for the growth of the company.
CEO and president of the OEP, Tim Giuliani, said:
“Charles Schwab’s decision to expand in Maitland in the Orlando region is a testament to the region’s strong economic fundamentals and appeal as a business destination.”
He added that the new investment will create high-paying jobs and further establish Central Florida as a premier destination for leading professional and financial services firms.
