The Orlando Parade of Homes for 2026 has recognized Kohler Homes and its three Cresswind communities in Central Florida.
News of such awards is often disseminated throughout a city and a region with flyer printing.
The Orlando Parade of Homes, which is held every year, showcases excellence in architecture, design, homebuilding, and innovation across the region, and is presented by the Greater Orlando Builders Association. Entries for this parade are evaluated by building professionals from the state and across the country, who assess their architectural design, craftsmanship, selection of products, and overall quality.
Best Community honors were earned by Cresswind DeLand. These homes were recognized for their thoughtful design and resort-inspired lifestyle. This is a gated community in Volusia County built for residents who are 55 years of age and older. Boasting 500 homes, this is the signature lifestyle program of Kohler and is focused on entertainment, education, relationships, and fitness.
A first-place award was given to the Morgan model at Cresswind at Hammock Oaks in the category of homes in the price range of $465,000 to $495,000. The community is near the Villages in Lady Lake and combines a resort lifestyle with flexible home designs.
Two merit awards were given to Kohler for Cresswind at Lake Harris in Tavares. Two model homes in distinct price ranges were recognized, and the floor plans of both houses highlight open concept designs and flexible living spaces.
