Orlando to celebrate month of Hispanic culture and history

National Hispanic Heritage Month is underway in Orlando. This celebrates the contributions, culture, and history of Hispanic Americans.

Many kinds of festivities and activities will take place throughout the city for this special time of year. Such activities and festivities are often promoted throughout a city with poster printing.

The Moderne in Orlando will be featuring a special cocktail menu of five new cocktails with a Hispanic flair. Kavas Tacos + Tequila at Pointe Orlando will be featuring Cocktails that Give Back. For every cocktail that is sold, the restaurant will donate $1.00 to United Arts of Central Florida, a non-profit organization in the area that supports many individual Hispanic artists and non-profit organizations led by Hispanics across Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Lake counties.

Aquatica Orlando will be holding a pool party every Saturday and Sunday through October 13. The pool party is included with the price of admission and features live entertainment and Latin music throughout the park and Latin-inspired food offerings at restaurants around the water park.

Orlando City Hall is hosting a Hispanic Heritage Month Art Exhibit. This will be in the Terrace Gallery and will have a display that celebrates the Latin American heritage and culture with work created by the artists in the city. This will run through Sunday November 3.
