The Disney on Broadway: Concert Series will be at America Garden Theatre in the new year.
The Disney Theatrical Group has established Disney on Broadway as its forerunning drama and music production company. It began in 1993 and its first Broadway adaptation was Beauty and the Beast in 1994. It is the 10th longest-running production in history, with over 5,000 performances. Its production of The Lion King won the Tony Award for Best Musical in 1998.
The concert will feature a pair of Disney on Broadway performers every two weeks. It will feature legendary musicals and much-loved numbers from Tarzan, Frozen, The Lion King, Aladdin, and Newsies.
Those interested in attending the concert can enter for free with park entry. A concert series eating package has also been made available by Disney, allowing visitors to choose from four EPCOT restaurants for lunch and dinner. Reservations for these tickets opened on December 13.
