Orlando enjoys winter cabaret series

Orlando will host a cabaret series next month for residents.

The event is the Holiday Punch, and it takes place as a part of the Courtyard Cabaret Series. This holiday staging begins as a single show, spanning an entire month. It presents Laura Hodos, acclaimed vocalist and fan favorite, as she performs upbeat and comedic tunes sure to have the audiences singing along, spreading the holiday cheer. The show will feature seasonal classics, as well as new pieces for attendees to enjoy.

The cabaret comes courtesy of the locally based Cypress Bank and Trust. The series continues in January featuring Rebecca Fisher, and ends in March by honoring Latinx contributions to Broadway.

The cost for tickets is $35. Space is limited at the venue, so guests should purchase tickets early. These are available for sale by calling the Box Office. Further contact details are available online. The location is also wheelchair accessible, but specifications must be made when ordering tickets.

Graphic design can be a useful way to decorate the set and stage for events such as this one.

This event takes place on December 8 to 24 at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center. This is located at the Darden Courtyard, 812 East Rollins Street, Orlando, Florida 32803. Evening performances will begin at 8:00 pm, while matinee performances begin at 3:00 pm.
