Renowned country and Americana singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams will be performing in Orlando this February as part of a national tour.
The show will see Williams perform her signature blend of soulful vocals and country guitar strumming. The tour is in support of Williams’ 2020 release Good Souls Better Angels, which was unable to have an immediate release tour, and will focus new songs as well as the artist’s past hits. The backing band for the album included guitarist and violinist Stuart Mathis, bassist David Sutton, and percussionist Butch Norton. Williams has performed over the course of more than 40 years and achieved critical acclaim, including three Grammy Awards and a recently-bestowed AMA-UK International Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Orlando show will be one of three dates for Williams in Florida on the tour, following a stop in Jacksonville the night before, and prior to a concert in Tampa Bay on March 5. This tour will also see Williams performing as support for The Avett Brothers at a festival in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico and for Bonnie Raitt on her summer tour. Music fans have been glad to see tours return over the last year, along with the marquee Signs and flyer printing often used to promote them.
Lucinda Williams will perform in Orlando at The Plaza Live on the evening of February 24.
