Orlando will host the 2021 edition of the SheBelieves Cup next month, pitting four of women’s soccer’s strongest national teams against each other.

The event will be the sixth edition of the Cup, and features the United States taking on three invited challengers. This year’s guests will be Canada, Brazil and Japan, all of which are ranked in the top 10 of FIFA’s world rankings.

The United States has won the tournament in three of the five previous editions, including last year’s event where it bested England, Spain, and Japan. The past year has seen sparse activity among some women’s international teams, with the United States playing in just one friendly match since March and Canada not playing any. The tournament will look to give all the teams playing time, with the United States preparing for the event with two matches against Colombia.

The tournament will be held in a round-robin format, with each team playing each other once. The winner of each match will obtain three points in the standings, or one point each for a draw, with the team who has the most points lifting the trophy on the final day, similar to the group stages of other tournaments. International tournaments like these often have a colorful atmosphere, with flags and banner printing filling the stands.

The 2021 version of the SheBelieves Cup will take place at Exploria Stadium in Orlando from February 18 to 24, with matches broadcast on Fox Sports 1 and Univision Deportes.
