Plantees, the plant-based burger concept developed by Team Market Group (TMG), will be moving from Orlando to Arizona as it has been sold to a new owner.
However, Team Market Group is planning to rebrand the space it currently occupies in Orlando into Jay Lucy’s. This new eatery will feature tallow fries, grass-fed burgers, and shakes. Nick Grecco, executive chef of TMG, said that the new restaurant will introduce a burger that is a steakhouse style but will have a smashburger feel like Au Cheval in New York City.
Olde Hearth brioche buns will encompass each burger which will also have pickles, cheese, onions, and a koji miso sauce made in house. Grecco said that “fun” shakes and beef tallow fries can also accompany a burger in addition to hand-battered nuggets and sauces.
There will also be a new design for the restaurant with enclosed seating areas that are air-conditioned as well as late night hours and eclectic music to create a new atmosphere in the establishment.
Local Print shops can play a role in the rebrand, producing Menus, promotional Flyers, and exterior Banners for the new concept. Additional print shops in the area may also be enlisted to create limited-edition Posters and merchandise ahead of the reopening.
Jay Lucy’s still plans to offer its plant-based burgers once it re-opens in a few weeks.
