Sloth World, the first and only “Slotharium” in the world, is coming to Orlando.

The space, spanning 7,500 square feet, is on International Drive and will house over 40 sloths from a wide range of species. Guests will join intimate, guided small-group tours through an immersive rainforest-inspired habitat, where sloths roam freely amid abundant trees, vines, and natural climbing features.

In contrast to conventional zoos or animal exhibits, there are no cages, enclosures, or glass partitions here. Visitors enter directly into the carefully crafted environment of the sloths, watching them effortlessly navigate, feed, climb, and relax in a serene, open-air space prioritized entirely for their well-being. The visit emphasizes conservation and learning, giving participants insight into sloth lifestyles, the importance of their instinctive behaviors, and the global impact of habitat preservation initiatives.

Vice President of Sloth World, Pete Bandre, said the goal is for visitors to step into the world that sloths experience and not the other way around. He added that visitors will step into their environments and come away with a better understanding of their unique features and why it is important to protect them.

Sloth World will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The price of admission will be $49 per person. Sloth World is expected to open next month.
