Unique water park to open in Orlando

Universal Orlando Resort recently announced that a new water theme park, Volcano Bay, will be opening next year.

Spanning 28 acres, the new offering will be a combination of both thrilling experiences and relaxing indulgences. Universal Orlando expects no long lines at the various attractions and, without the need to carry their rafts up the slides, guests will be able to have more fun and spend more time with their families.

Volcano Bay will be divided into four parks with 18 attractions. Some of these will be a peaceful winding river, a multidirectional wave pool with sandy beaches, speeding body slides starting at the top of the volcano and falling into the waters below, and twisting raft rides that will accommodate multiple riders.

Each of the “parks within a park” will have many restaurants and bars with a range of cuisines and food and beverage options, all with views of the volcano.

The park was designed by the same team that brought theme parks such The Wizarding World of Harry Potter to the city. Its research covered tropical resorts and water parks around the world so as to make the park as realistic as possible.

Universal Orlando Resort might benefit from the assistance of various types of marketing services to promote this new park, likely including print media as well as online resources.
